One very important reason our scooters excel is our research into manufacturers and distributors. Not all scooters are the same! Unless you know what to look for, you can end up with inferior products. All of our scooters meet every federal standard, including emission standards.

Scooters plus is not a drop ship dealer..Many on-line scooter dealers are nothing more than drop ship sites -  which means all they do is take and place orders. They offer no service, no warranty coverage, and no replacement parts. Scooters Plus takes the time to personally assess your intended use, budget, and style to make sure each rider is matched to the appropriate scooter to fit their needs.

It simply means that you have to install the mirrors and battery. Sometimes you have to install the front wheel (which is no easy task!) The part that they don’t tell you is the battery needs to be filled with acid and charged!  Also, you should drain all the factory fluids and replace with proper fluids. Check the entire scooter for loose or missing bolts and screws. Look for loose wires, burnt out bulbs, incorrect parts, kinked vacuum and fuel lines and so on.  We take care of all that before our scooters go on our show room floor. Fortunatly our scooters don’t usually have these problems to start with.

If you read the last few lines in the warranty section, you will be advised that in order to get warranty coverage you must get your scooter set up at one of their dealers, which usually don’t exist or are miles away. Some require that the scooter must get set up by a licensed mechanic at your expense. Then you have to send a receipt as proof that it was serviced by a licensed mechanic and maybe you will be covered. Also, check your warranty period - some are as short as 30 days!

Our manufacturers offer anywhere from 12 months to 24 months of warranty coverage - one even includes labor in the first 12 months.
